Lara Trump makes full-throated case for Prez Trump fixing “broken” criminal justice systems
Criminal justice reform has received relatively little attention over the first four months of the second Trump Administration. For that reason and others, I was quite intrigued to see that Fox News host Lara Trump devoted much of her “My View” show last night to criminal justice issues and the continued need for criminal justice reforms. Here are links to, and Fox News descriptions of, certain segments of that show:
“Lara Trump: The First Step Act was the ‘most significant criminal justice reform in a generation’“: Fox News host Lara Trump breaks down the First Step Act and how it gives ‘those who paid their debt’ a ‘shot at redemption’ on ‘My View with Lara Trump.
“Trump ‘pardon czar’ details how she’ll help incarcerated Americans who ‘paid their dues’“: Trump ‘pardon czar’ Alice Marie Johnson, who herself has been in prison, explains how she will help find Americans who ‘deserve a second chance’ on ‘My View with Lara Trump.
“Savannah Chrisley: You don’t understand the justice system until it affects you“: Former reality TV star Savannah Chrisley tells ‘My View with Lara Trump’ what she wants people to know about her parents’ story and her work as a prison reform advocate.
