A few criminal justice headlines on Election Eve

I may be too exhausted from fast-forwarding through a stunning number of election ads to put together a detailed SL&P election 2012 guide in the next few days. Fortunately, a lot of the highlights for sentencing fans can be found in old and new media stories, such as these I noticed this morning:

  • From The Crime Report here, “Election 2012: Crime Policy at the Crossroads”

  • From the Daytona Beach News-Journal here, “Felons find restoring right to vote a harder task now”

  • From Bloomberg here, “Marijuana’s Recreational, Medical Use on Ballots in Six States”

  • From policymic here, “California Propositions: Prop 34 and Prop 36 Could Have National Reprecussions”

  • From the National Journal here, “The 10 Biggest Legal Stories to Watch on Election Night”
